As the world comes together to celebrate International Women’s Day, I find myself reflecting on the extraordinary women who have left an indelible mark on my life. Each of these remarkable individuals—my wife Deesha, my mother Alka, my mother-in-law Hema, and my sister Kinjal all hold a unique place in my heart, contributing to the tapestry of my life in profound ways.

Deesha, my beloved wife, stands as a beacon of strength and resilience in my life. Her unwavering willpower and determination have guided us through life’s ups and downs, serving as a constant source of inspiration and motivation. From the moment I met her, I knew she was destined to be my partner in every sense of the word. Her unwavering support and boundless love have provided me with the courage to chase my dreams and the solace to weather life’s storms. Together, we’ve shared laughter and tears, triumphs and challenges, forging a bond that grows stronger with each passing day.

Alka, my cherished mother, holds a special place in my heart—a place reserved for the one who nurtured me, loved me unconditionally, and shaped the person I am today. Her love knows no bounds, transcending time and space to envelop me in its warmth and comfort. Even as I’ve grown older, I remain her “small baby,” cherished and protected under her watchful gaze. Her wisdom and guidance have been a guiding light, illuminating the path ahead and helping me navigate life’s complexities with grace and humility. In her embrace, I find solace—a reminder of the enduring bond between a mother and her child, a bond that transcends words and transcends time.

Hema, my dear mother-in-law, initially hesitated to accept me, but over time, she has become a mother figure in my life—one whose love and acceptance have touched me deeply. Her transformation from skeptic to supporter is a testament to the power of love and understanding, bridging the gap between strangers and forging connections that endure. Her presence brings a sense of warmth and belonging, reminding me that family is not defined by blood but by the bonds we create and the love we share. With her by my side, I feel empowered to face whatever challenges may come, knowing that her unwavering support will always be there to buoy me up.

Kinjal, my elder sister, occupies a profound space in my heart—a sanctuary reserved for a confidante, a companion, and an unwavering ally. Despite being the elder sibling, Kinjal transcends the traditional sibling role; she is the embodiment of trust and friendship in my life. Our connection is not merely familial but rooted in a deep bond of mutual understanding and shared experiences. In times of uncertainty, I instinctively turn to her for guidance and reassurance, knowing that her unwavering support is an ever-present anchor. Together, we confront life’s trials with a shared sense of humor and resilience, drawing strength from one another’s presence.

Together, these extraordinary women form the backbone of my existence, providing me with the love, support, and encouragement I need to thrive. On this International Women’s Day, I want to express my deepest gratitude to each of them for the invaluable roles they play in my life. They are more than just wives, mothers, and sisters—they are my pillars of strength, my confidantes, and my closest allies. Without them, my world would be a much darker place—a place devoid of laughter, love, and the boundless beauty of the human spirit.

As we celebrate the achievements and contributions of women around the world, let us not forget the unsung heroes who enrich our lives each and every day. To my beloved wife Deesha, my cherished mother Alka, my dear mother-in-law Hema, and my wonderful sister Kinjal: thank you for being the guiding lights in my life. You are the embodiment of strength, grace, and resilience, and I am eternally grateful for the love and support you provide. Here’s to celebrating the incredible women who make our world a brighter, more beautiful place. Happy International Women’s Day!

With all my love,

Karan
